Skin Treatments

Pigmentation

  • Pigmentation is the colouring of your skin. It is a skin condition where patches of the skin turn into a darker shade of colour due to excessive presence of melanin, found on skin surface.

Melanin is produced by melanocytes and functions as miniature umbrellas to skin cells to protect the skin from sun and UV damages. Pigmentation is due to the deposition of the pigment melanin, which is produced by specialized cells called melanocytes. Other pigment-related terms include hyperpigmentation (too much pigment), hypopigmentation and underpigmentation (too little pigment), and depigmentation (loss of pigment).

Stem Cell Therapy

  • You can protect your new-born’s future by preserving her stem cells safely, in a properly equipped cell bank. Research is underway on the prevention and treatment of various diseases / conditions using stem cells. Stem cell therapy is currently being researched for the treatment of diseases and conditions such as Parkinson’s, Crohn’s, autoimmune disease and even baldness.

Some of them include:
1 – Spinal / Brain injuries.
2 – Diabetes.
3 – Cerebral palsy.
4 – Muscular Dystrophy.

Vitiligo Treatment

  • Vitiligo (vit-ill-EYE-go) is a disorder in which white patches of skin appear on different parts of the body. This happens because the cells that make pigment (color) in the skin are destroyed. Vitiligo can also affect the mucous membranes (such as the tissue inside the mouth and nose) and the eye. Somewhere between 0.5 and 2.0 percent of the global population has vitiligo, a disorder that affects pigmentation of the skin.

With this condition, the cells that make the skin’s pigment, called melanocytes, are destroyed. This results in white blotchy patches. For some, vitiligo may occur on the face, neck or hands, causing a dramatic and traumatizing change in appearance. For others, it may strike mucous membranes like the mouth, nose and genitals, as well as the retinas. If a patch appears on an area with hair growth, the hair will turn white or very light gray.

PRP Treatment

  • Platelet rich plasma, commonly referred to as “PRP’, is a non-operative, permanent solution for conditions such as arthritis and ligament/tendon sprains and tears. Utilizing the body’s natural healing process, PRP therapy is a concentration of platelets that are injected into the damaged ligaments, tendons, and joints to promote tissue repair and accelerate healing.

Platelets are rich in growth and healing factors which means, on average, an injured individual can get back to a pain-free life in four to six weeks. PRP was made popular by professional athletes and weekend warriors through its treatment of season-ending symptoms including swelling, stiffness, inflammation, tenderness, and pain.

Skin Whitening

  • A flawless skin remains only a dream, given our hectic lifestyle. To add to that, many other factors like pollution, harmful UV rays from the sun, stress, and improper diet can damage your skin further and give you an imbalanced skin tone. If this wasn’t enough, many of the cosmetic products available in the market these days contain harmful chemicals and additives that cause additional damage to your skin instead of making it healthy and glowing.

The best solution under these circumstances is to use natural ingredients or products that are safe to use. Their benefits are plenty and include skin brightening, balancing your skin tone, reducing blemishes and marks, photo-protection (protection from UV rays), and eliminating harmful bacteria

Acne & Acne Scar Treatment

  • Acne is one of the most common diseases of skin. Though, it mainly affects adolescents it can also occur at any age. Acne is nothing but the inflammation of sebaceous glands. It may appear as seborrhoea, comedons (Small yellow dots) skin elevation with or without pus, nodules, and sometime small cysts and can cause scarring of skin.

Mechanism of Acne formation :

1 – Sebum production is increased.
2 – There is a hyperkeratinisation or thickening of skin.
3 – Accumulation of bacteria responsible for acne.
4 – Inflammation (Redness of skin).

Scar Removal

  • When the skin is injured from a cut or tears, it heals by forming scar tissue. The appearance of the scar can range from nearly invisible to very obvious and disfiguring.

Among the scar removal treatments in the market, the lengthy and unreliable ones are skin creams and silicon gels which claim to fade scars. Some other methods with better results are:
1 – Laser Skin Resurfacing, which uses high energy light beam that stimulates fresh tissue growth by eliminating the outer layers.
2 – Chemical Peels use lactic and glycolic acid to peel off a scar’s outer layer leaving it smooth and improved.
3 – Surgery for scar removal involves using a skin graft from another part of a patient’s body to cut and replace the scarred area.

Anti Aging

  • As people undergo anti aging, the facial features undergo three distinct processes: “Sinking”, “Sagging”, and “Wrinkling”. These changes take place not only due to changes in the skin, but also due to changes in soft tissue, musculature and even bone structure beneath.

The Process of Facial Aging: Sinking, Sagging and Wrinkling :
Sinking – Skin’s lower layers are made up of collagen and elastin fibres housed in a matrix of ground substance composed of glycosaminoglycans and hyaluronic acid.
Sagging – The most successful anti-aging treatments for ‘saggy’ faces involve a combination of volume restoration, and collagen stimulation.
Wrinkling – Wrinkling is exhibited by clearly defined patches of wrinkly skin, often located around the eyes, brow and lips.

Cosmetic Surgery

  • The procedures, techniques, and principles of cosmetic surgery are entirely focused on enhancing a patient’s appearance. Improving aesthetic appeal, symmetry, and proportion are the key goals.

Cosmetic surgery can be performed on all areas of the head, neck, and body. Because the treated areas function properly, cosmetic surgery is elective. Cosmetic surgery is practiced by doctors from a variety of medical fields, including plastic surgeons.

The scope of cosmetic surgery procedures includes:
1 – Facial Rejuvenation: Facelift, Eyelid Lift, Neck Lift, Brow Lift.
2 – Body Contouring: Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, Gynecomastia Treatment.
3 – Facial Contouring: Rhinoplasty, Chin, or Cheek Enhancement.
4 – Skin Rejuvenation: Laser Resurfacing, Botox®, Filler Treatments

Laser Skin Treatmen

  • Lasers are sources of high intensity light. It accurately focuses on small spots with high energy.

The laser beam can gently vaporize and/or ablate the skin tissues to treat wrinkles, scars and blemishes, seal blood vessels or cut skin tissue. Broad spectrum of the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) has the ability to specifically treat blood vessels and pigmentation. The technique directs short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin, precisely removing the skin layer by layer.

Laser therapy is used to treat varied skin conditions and ailments, including:
1 – Unwanted hair
2 – Unwanted tattoos
3 – Aging skin problems, such as age spots, fine lines and wrinkles on the face

Vampire Facial

  • You’ve probably seen the photos on Instagram: A celebrity or influencer’s face covered with blood splatter. No, it’s not Halloween makeup, it’s actually one of the latest treatment trends in skin care, also known as a “vampire facial.”

In laymen’s terms: It’s a facial that essentially uses, “your own blood to help promote the healthy activity of your skin cells,” says Joshua Zeichner, the director of cosmetic and clinical research in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Our blood is comprised of red blood cells and serum, which contain our white blood cells and platelets.

Hyda Facial

  • It’s a “medical-grade hydradermabrasion device that carries out a patented three-part regimen — cleansing, exfoliating, and then infusing skin with intensive serums,” explains Sameer Bashey, a clinical instructor in dermatology.

HydraFacial has recently teamed up with superbrands like SkinCeuticals and ZO Skin Health — having technicians incorporate key products directly into the scripted process, or sending patients away with specific kits to use between facials to enhance the benefits and add a bespoke feel to the entire experience. Our blood is comprised of red blood cells and serum, which contain our white blood cells and platelets.

BB Glow

  • The BB Glow treatment is one of the latest procedures in Korean beauty, using KFDA approved Stayve products. It is a safe procedure that gives your skin a radiant, smooth look with highlighted contours, much like the results you would get on applying foundation.

One of the main benefits of basic microneedling is stimulation of nаturаl соllаgеn production and skin rejuvenation, where the BB Glow serum adds incredible nutrients and most importantly the color tint you desire.

Botox

  • Botox derives from C. botulinum bacteria, which are present in many natural settings, including soil, lakes, forests, and the intestinal tracts of mammals and fish.

Botox Cosmetic works by temporarily blocking nerve signals and muscle contractions. This improves the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and between the eyebrows. It can also slow the formation of new lines by preventing contraction of facial muscles.

It’s a minimally invasive procedure. It doesn’t involve incisions or general anesthesia. If you’re concerned about pain or discomfort, a topical anesthetic or ice can numb the treatment area.

Fillers

  • Injectable wrinkle fillers can give you a more youthful look for a fraction of what a traditional facelift costs.

Thread Lift

  • Thread lift procedure is a minimally invasive alternative to facelift surgery. Thread lifts claim to tighten your skin by inserting medical-grade thread material into your face and then “pulling” your skin up by tightening the thread.

The typical candidate for a thread lift is in their late 30s to early 50s. A person who is generally in good health and is just starting to notice the signs of aging may benefit the most from the subtle impact of a thread lift.

Those who can’t have a surgical facelift because of medical conditions that make general anesthesia risky may consider a thread lift as a safer alternative.

Mole and Wart Removal

  • Moles are common skin growths. You probably have more than one on your face and body. Most people have 10 to 40 moles somewhere on their skin.

Most moles are harmless and nothing to worry about. You don’t need to remove a mole unless it bothers you. But if you don’t like the way it affects your appearance, or if it’s getting irritated from rubbing against your clothes, removing the mole is an option.
